Ahead in 2025

Thank you to Long Beach Township (LBT) Mayor Joe Mancini, who shared his thoughts in the Meet The Mayor meeting on Sunday August 17 2025.  The meeting was held at the LBI Foundation of the Arts & Sciences in Loveladies and was hosted by LPOA.  It covered a wide range of topics such as the the status of a local pickleball/tennis court, new LBT ordinances addressing bike safety, lifeguards on Loveladies beaches through Labor Day and LBT’s successful recruiting, training and hiring program for emergency medical technicians who serve the island.  Mayor Mancini provided information and candidly answered questions from the audience.

LPOA’s hosting of the Meet The Mayor Meeting is an annual summertime event.  LPOA’s membership meeting is usually scheduled every year on the third Sunday in August beginning at 11:00 am at the Foundation of the Arts & Sciences in Loveladies.  Watch this website page for updates about next year’s schedule.
